There’s so much going on in the world and in everyone’s lives, yet not enough places for real discussions about it all. If you have been looking for that melting pot of mental stimulation, then you have found it.

Every Saturday evening at 6:00pm, free thinkers gather to share news, ideas, opinions and pizza at Roma’s Italian Restaurant on Greenville Avenue. Everyone has something to say and a good conversation thrives on a well-nourished mind and body, which makes Roma’s the perfect place to share.

To keep the discussions interesting there will be a wide range of Guest Speakers to help prompt spirited question and answer sessions, as well as pros and cons discussions as you see fit. With plenty of room for remarks and rebuttals to keep the dynamics of the discussions evolving. These and all other forms of deliberation will join together to create a stimulating environment for people who like to think!

All meetings are open to the public. Don’t be afraid to join in on the animated deliberations. Although if you would like to come and just listen to the conversations, you are more than welcome to do that as well. Remember the more minds that contribute, the more interesting the discussions get. Which is why to keep things moving, speakers have a 5-minute time limit. But, of course, there is no limit to creativity, food, fun and laughter.

Hot Topics, Cold Beer and Jimmy’s Italian Cuisine are the pioneers of the night.

Guests can look forward to a vivacious evening built around Jimmy’s custom cooked Italian classics including spaghetti, pizza, lasagna, dessert and more! Nothing gets your stomachs attention like an evening of mental stimulation surrounded by the smells of well cooked food.

Three Step Dine-In Lunch available from 11 AM until 2 PM. Lunch includes warm garlic rolls and garden Salad for only 6.99.

Step One is a choice of pasta; Angel Hair, Spaghetti, Fettuccine, Linguini, Penne, Cheese Tortellini, Cheese Ravioli Meat Ravioli. Step two is a choice of pasta sauce; Spicy marinara, Regular marinara, Alfredo sauce, Alla vodka sauce (pink sauce) and step three is choice of salad dressing; House Italian, Ranch. Free Bellini Cocktails Highlight Grand Opening of Roma’s New Restaurant

Italian food lovers celebrate!

Known for its old-school dedication to classic, hand crafted Italian cuisine, Roma’s (family owned since 2003) moves into new, larger space at 7033 Greenville Avenue (just north of Park) on May 9.

Chef Jimmy offers old favorites, like Hand Tossed Pizza, but will also prepare custom orders and “special request” dishes to delight even the most discerning diner.

In Europe, he learned to cook from his mother and later attended the School for Culinary Arts in Milan.

Jimmy says, “Early Italian cooks wrote poems about their food! I like to experiment. Let me cook you some artichoke hearts!”

A friend says, “Jimmy can cook anything!”

The new, larger location, with generous parking, will allow Roma’s to host larger parties and family celebrations as well as business functions. Roma’s Private Dining Room is available for special occasions.

New Location Gives Roma’s Room to Grow

A popular Lake Highlands restaurant will expand in May 2017 to a space just down the street.

Roma’s Pizza & Italian Restaurant, established in 2004, will relocate to 7033 Greenville Ave. this year, on May 1st. The expansion will accommodate larger crowds, an expanded menu, more jobs.

“Pizza and Italian food lovers can look forward to even larger family gatherings at 7033 Greenville Ave. north of Park Lane,” says owner, Jimmy.

Legendary family friendly fare, a full bar plus plenty of free parking will welcome diners at the new, convenient location.

“Jimmy can cook anything, but Italian is his favorite,” says a frequent guest. “It’s great to look around the room and see all age groups laughing, talking and having fun!”

“That’s why we started the business, to serve happiness in the form of food and community,” Jimmy said. “We’re excited to continue serving the Lake Highlands neighborhood and the surrounding area.”
